Grinnell Rewilding + Organic Pilot Project
In 2020, we worked with students at Grinnell College to rewild a 5,000 sq ft lawn. This project was the first of several herbicide-free prairie restoration projects. Grinnell is now trailing organic management with our organic pilot program.
Drexel University Goes Organic
Drexel University, located in Philadelphia PA, piloted organic practices on Drexel Park, a major green space on campus. After seeing the success of the pilot, Drexel has announced that all campus green spaces will now be managed organically.
University of Wisconsin Madison Organic Pilot Project
We began working with students at UW-Madison in 2022 and helped them identify key stakeholders, build relationships, and apply for and secure funding to start an organic pilot project. In the fall of 2024 UW-Madison launched organic pilot projects on 4 sites.
Emory University Organic Pilot Project
After 3+ years of campaign efforts, Emory University if home to three new organic sites.
Oberlin Organic Pilot Project
In the fall of 2023 we connected with students, staff, and alumni of Oberlin College to initiate an organic pilot project. The grounds team will learn how to implement organic landcare on pilot sites with the goal of expanding to the entirety of campus.
